For those who don't know, Yashaswini Jindal and Shashvat Somani recently tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony. It is worth mentioning that Yashaswini is the only daughter of BJP MP Naveen Jindal. Read on to know more about the bride and groom.
The bride, Yashaswini Jindal, is the daughter of industrialist-turned-politician, Naveen Jindal and Shallu Jindal, a popular Kuchipudi advocate. It is worth mentioning that from an early age Yashaswini followed her mother's step and went into classical dance. She was reportedly trained under gurus, Raja & Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy. According to a report by Financial Express, she was born in 1999, and completed her schooling in New Delhi. Later, she studied at Yale University.
Like his wife, Shashvat Somani is also the son of an industrialist. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Shashvat was born to Sandeep and Sumita Somani. He is the son of the chairman and MD of Somani Impresa Ltd. It is worth mentioning that Somani Impresa Ltd. is a leading company of glass, sanitaryware and construction materials in India. Reportedly, he is the Head of Strategy in the company. According to the same report by Financial Express, he studied at UCLA and earned a BA in Economics and Psychology. Reportedly, he also did MBA from London Business School.
Naveen Jindal is an Indian industrialist and politician. He is popularly known as the chairman of Jindal Steel and Power, which is one of India's large steel and energy companies. Naveen also represents the Kurukshetra constituency in the Lok Sabha. Apart from this, he is also the founder of OP Jindal Global University and his wife, Shallu Jindal is a well-known Kuchipudi dancer. As reported by Financial Express, Naveen Jindal has assets worth Rs. 1230 crore.
It is worth mentioning that Naveen is the son of Savitri Jindal, who is reportedly one of the richest women in India. She had taken charge of the Jindal Group after her husband, O.P. Jindal, passed away. Since, then she has been the guiding light. Apart from business, she was also involved in politics. Reportedly, she has served as an MLA in Haryana and has supported multiple social causes. It is worth mentioning that Savitri was earlier associated with Congress, but now she is with BJP.
For those who don’t know, Yashaswini Jindal and Shashvat Somani tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony on December 5, 2025. The ceremony was held at the Jindal house in Delhi. Recently, Sajjan Jindal’s wife took to her X handle (formerly Twitter) to share a video of all the four Jindal brothers - Naveen, Sajjan, Prithviraj and Ratan Jindal. The brothers were seen dancing on Daler Mehndi's popular song, Na Na Na Na Re, on the occasion of Yashaswini and Shashvat's wedding. Along with the video, she also penned a special note. The note can be read as:
"It was wonderful to see all my brother in laws dancing together! @MPNaveenJindal @sajjanjindal. Ratan bhaiya and Prithvi bhaiya on the occasion of Yashasvini and Shashwat's wedding! Feel so blessed."
