Indian cricketer and left-arm fast bowler, Yash Dayal, who is best-known for playing for the IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore, made headlines a few days ago, when his wedding photos with his longtime girlfriend, Shweta Pundir were released. Reportedly, the two secretly got married in February 2026, in Noida. Well, now the influencer, Shweta has officially shared some cutesy snaps from her and Yash’s haldi ceremony.
On March 22, 2026, Shweta Pundir took to her Instagram handle to share a series of photos from her haldi ceremony with cricketer, Yash Dayal. The couple looked madly in love with each other. However, what grabbed attention was that the ceremony was held beside a swimming pool. In the photos shared by Shweta, the entire family can be seen having fun in the pool after the haldi rituals.
Talking about the outfits, Shweta Pundir opted for a traditional yellow-hued lehenga, paired with minimal jewellery and a no-makeup-makeup look. She left her hair open in the middle partition. Her longtime partner, Yash Dayal complemented Shweta in a yellow kurta and a white pajama. It is worth mentioning that Yash Dayal has still not shared the snaps from their haldi. According to the X post, the couple got married on February 4, 2026, in Noida, in front of their family members. If reports are to be believed, not a single cricketer was present at the ceremony. Reportedly, for the big day, Shweta Pundir opted for a traditional red bridal lehenga with embroidery. She paired it with gold jewellery including a maang teeka. On the other hand, Yash Dayal wore a red embroidered sherwani paired with a cream-hued waistcoat.
For those who do not know, Shweta Pundir and Yash Dayal have been together for a long time. In 2025, when the cricketer was going through the toughest phase of his life, the social media influencer stood beside him as his strongest pillar of strength. At that time, Yash was accused of rape and sexual exploitation. And while the entire nation judged him, Shweta supported him. When Yash was granted interim protection from arrest, Shweta took to her Instagram handle and shared a post, whose caption could be read as:
