"The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude, I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him. My brain’s rewired and I’m scared to make him mad and last week, I didn’t want to talk about it because I was scared."
Brianna further added that Zach's team offered her USD 12 million to not talk about their relationship, and she also claimed that he offered her a house and an apartment in New York City. But she chose to speak up for people who had suffered emotional abuse. She said:
"For anyone else that's been emotionally abused. It's for people right now that are being emotionally abused. It's for people that don't have a support system that I was luckily enough to have going through this."
Brianna claimed that Zach broke up with her because of her Golden Globes dress. She stated that he didn't like her dress and told her he didn't want to date someone who presented herself that way. She alleged that he ruined her night, her tour, and her birthday. She was quoted as saying:
"He didn't like my dress. He didn't want to date someone that presents themselves that way. He ruined my night. Everything good, anything good I did for me, he made sure to ruin it for me. He ruined my birthday, he ruined my tour, he ruined the Golden Globes. Anything Brianna did for Brianna, he had to ruin it. He makes me believe that I have to change my image to keep up with his or something," adding that the situation between them was "twisted."
Zach Bryan and Samantha Leonard got married on December 31, 2025, in San Sebastian, Spain. In the photos, Bryan and his wife looked happiest. The bride was dressed up in a white gown featuring a feather-hem detailing. Sharing the picture, Zach confirmed that he is now a married man.
