His band confirmed the news by sharing a heartfelt social media post and mentioned that he died surrounded by his wife, Jennifer Sanderford, and other loved ones. While everyone is recalling the rock legends, some fans have also turned their attention to the other woman in his life, who marked a different chapter in Brad's life. Who was Terika Roberts?

Terika Roberts and Brad Arnold were reportedly high school sweethearts, and they tied the knot on May 15, 2001. Coincidentally, it was the same time as his band. 3 Doors Down was rising to fame following the success of their debut album, The Better Life. Subsequently, the singer spent a lot of time on tour as he tried to balance rising fame with a young marriage.

Later, in interviews with lifestyle publications, he shared that many of the songs he wrote in the early 2000s were influenced by feelings of distance and loneliness, which many believed stemmed from his being away from Terika after he married. But there is no confirmation about it. They were married for 6 years before divorcing in 2007. Unlike Arnold, Terika stepped away from public attention. Some reports claimed that she had worked for a regional department store chain. They did not have any children together.

Brad Arnold gave a second chance at love with Jennifer Sanderford 

After Brad Arnold's divorce from Terika Roberts, he met Jennifer Sanderford, a friend of his child, on a blind date. The couple reconnected, and their relationship quickly turned serious. Eventually, in 2008, Brad musically popped the question by performing a song for her that ended with the line, "Will you please be my wife?" The pair tied the knot on September 12, 2009, in a quiet ceremony in Escatawpa, Mississippi, Arnold's hometown. At the same time, he had started his band, 3 Doors Down, there. They had no kids, but Jennifer stood by Brad and helped him deal with the pressures of fame and his illness.

What caused Brad Arnold's death? 

Brad Arnold opened up about his health diagnosis and explained how he was suffering from a kind of kidney cancer. It had already spread to his lungs, making it a Stage 4 billion. Along with sharing the diagnosis in a video, he asked fans to pray for him and expressed hope for his recovery. But over time, his health continued to decline. Eventually, the band's statement confirmed that Brad died peacefully after months of treatment. Furthermore, they requested privacy for the family. For those unaware, Brad is the second founding member of 3 Doors Down to pass away after guitarist Matt Roberts' death in 2016.
