The controversy surrounding popular streamer Thomas, aka Sykkuno, has taken some dramatic turns ever since his alleged ex and fellow VTuber, HemomalVT, exposed his alleged pattern of "manipulating" multiple women while cheating on his live-in girlfriend of five years. After the detailed expose, many users have come up with their versions of experiences with the 34-year-old soft-spoken creator. One of the most explosive allegations comes from Sykkuno's alleged ex-girlfriend.
The ex, known online as Lena, tried to expose Sykkuna's alleged fake persona years ago, but the claims were largely dismissed by the streamer's loyal fans. Amid the ongoing drama, Lena has reignited the buzz.
According to posts that first circulated in 2020, Lena claimed she dated Sykkuno for nearly three years, from roughly 2015 to 2018. At that time, she allegedly shared screenshots of private messages, making strong accusations about his personality off-camera. Describing his online persona as a "character," Lena shared how Thomas' "fake, toxic, selfish, manipulative, and emotionally abusive" side gradually emerged.
In a recent post on Reddit, a user noted the popular VTuber's pattern, citing Lena's old allegations and mentioning how many streamers like Lena have long known about Sykkuno's reality, but chose to ignore it. Additionally, Lena alleged inconsistencies between his “wholesome gamer” image and his behaviour in earlier gaming environments. A part of the Reddit post reads:
"The DMs basically said the on-stream Sykkuno is a character. Lena said his real version is 'fake, toxic, selfish, manipulative, and emotionally abusive'... His "no friends" thing was a lie. Also, his 'I'm so lonely, nobody wants to play with me' persona."
Those who have followed Sykkuno's journey over the years have seen him build his identity as a lonely, poor guy with no friends. However, in Lena's version of things, as she recently told in a chat, this was far from the reality. She recalled how he told her "a lot of lies/false stories about a lot of people" when they were together, consistently speaking badly about people he called friends, including fellow streamer Lily (LilyPichu), and Aria (Angela Don). "He consistently talks badly about his so-called friends, including Lily, Aria, etc.," says Lena.
Lena mentioned how Thomas never cared about connecting with her friends because they were "normal people," and when they invited him to hang out, he would allegedly ignore them, even telling her that he had "nothing to gain from them" as they "weren't streamers." In the viral screenshots of her chat, Lena says:
"...most of my friends ... tried their best to be his friend, inviting him to do stuff, play games, etc, but he would always ignore them and then complain to me over and over about how he has 0 friends. He never tried to make friends with them because all my friends are pretty normal people. We aren’t popular, we aren’t streamers, etc. He has nothing to gain, so I guess he just doesn’t care."
Many of Sykkuno's alleged formal flings are coming up with their individual experiences with the so-called "wholesome" streamer, most of them mentioning that he had approached them, saying he was single. In light of HemomalVT's explosive document, Lena has also spoken up, even bringing up old photos from the time they dated, while also mentioning that she knows she will be dismissed as a fake and a clout-chaser either way. On April 11, 2026, Lena wrote this tweet:
"I dated him from ~2015-2019, I warned a few people about him at the time, but most ppl didn’t believe me (and got harassed for it). Does anyone know how I can get in contact with his gf (if she will speak with me)? I rly want to talk to her... I feel bad that so many ppl got hurt."
On her chat, Lena alleged that she was in a relationship with Sykkuno for nearly three years, during which they spoke daily. Despite that, she claimed that most people would choose to believe his on-stream personality over her account of who he was in private. She no longer wants anything to do with the streamer and views him as a "pretty selfish and very manipulative" person who maintains this fake, wholesome facade online.
Lena, known online by the handle duetrofl, is an alleged former partner of Sykkuno, who first came into the spotlight back in 2020 after she shared claims about their past relationship. According to her own statements, she dated the streamer for several years and briefly broke up in 2018 before reconciling two months later. She said they were extremely close during that period, spending time together almost daily, with some photos suggesting she may have even been inside his home regularly.
It's important to note that, unlike most of Sykkuno's alleged exes, Lena is not a public figure and has largely remained outside mainstream creator circles. Her claims, both past and present, remain unverified.
