In July 2025, Charlize Theron appeared on an episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast. She was reportedly there to promote her movie, The Old Guard 2. During her conversation with host, Alex Cooper the Academy Award-winning actress, who was 49 at the time, got candid about how she hooked up with a 26-year-old man. The conversation came up when Alex asked her about her approach to dating these days and what her best tip was when it came to sexual encounters. Charlize stated:
"I almost choked. I am the last person to ask. I'm sounding very cocky here, but I think it's because I found this freedom in my forties where I'm like, 'Oh my god,' so I just want to say this in perspective. I've probably had three one-night stands in my entire life, but I did just recently f----- a 26-year-old, and it was really f------ amazing, and I've never done that, and I was like, 'Oh, this is great okay.'"
Alex responded to Charlize’s statements by saying that the 26-year-old was the luckiest man to walk on Earth. She also said that the man is “walking different today knowing.” To this, Charlize added, “He is for sure is not, but thank you.”
For those unaware, Charlize Theron is a mother to two daughters, Jackson and August. She has dated several actors over the years, including Sean Penn, Stuart Townsend, Craig Buerko, and Third Eye Blind's frontman, Stephan Jenkins. Since then, Charlize has been famously single and committed to not getting married. However, during her conversation with Alex, the actress claimed that she is fine with having one-night stands although she does not “have many of them.” She was quoted as saying:
"I sound like I'm sitting here sounding like I do. So when I do, I'm like, 'Oh, f--- yeah, I should have done this in my 20s. I was married from the time that I was, like, having sex to the time that I had my last relationship. Then I had children. Who has f---- time for dates and shaving and waxing and makeup? And, like, I've got two children that have to go to school."
Charlize Theron attended The Odyssey’s premiere at La Grand Rex in Paris. For the July 8, 2026 event, she chose to wear a custom Dior lace gown with a plunging neckline. While some fans couldn't stop gushing about her elegant look, her photos and videos from the event went viral for an entirely different reason.
According to the clips on social media, Charlize was seen greeting fans and happily signing autographs. At this moment, fans noticed her collarbones and ribcage peeking through her dress. Concerned for her health, Charlize's fans immediately took to the comments and pointed out how things she looks compared to before. One user wrote, "Love her, but she has lost too much weight.” Another wrote, “So thin!
