Sunil Pal is a comedian and actor. Besides being an actor, Sunil is also a director. Back in 2024, he made headlines after he slammed the makers of Kapil Sharma’s show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. He also urged the famous comedian, Kapil Sharma, not to use foul language on the show. However, currently, Sunil is grabbing a lot of attention due to his drastic weight loss transformation. The sudden change has sparked health concerns among his fans.
Recently, comedian, Sunil Pal marked his presence at the Mumbai premiere of Kapil Sharma’s film, Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon 2. For the unversed, the film has hit the theatres on December 12, 2025. The star-studded event in Mumbai had a huge list of celebrities in attendance, including Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Manoj Bajpayee, Johnny Lever, Tiger Shroff, Ameesha Patel, Suniel Shetty, Tabu, Rajiv Thakur, Anil Kapoor, Aamir Khan and his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. Sunil attended the premiere wearing a blue shirt, black trousers. He also sported a black cap. However, it was his sudden weight transformation that shocked fans. He looked visibly thin, which further sparked health concerns among his fans.
Ever since videos featuring Sunil Pal surfaced online, netizens have flooded the comment section. It is noteworthy to mention that although Sunil’s recent appearance has sparked health concerns, there has been no official confirmation about any issue. An X user wrote, "He seems broke both by health and wealth. It’s a saying that staying rich and healthy is more difficult than being rich and healthy."
Another user commented, "Seems like he is suffering from some disease! Can’t believe he won the laughter champions once." Another user penned, "Just being at the top isn't enough, you need to sustain that." A fourth user wrote, "Someone should give him food. He seems to be starving."
Back in 2024, when the promo of The Great Indian Kapil Show was dropped on social media, Sunil had strongly reacted to it. He made a video and slammed the makers for promoting foul language. He then called Kapil Sharma, 'king of comedy' and a 'family entertainer'. He shared his disappointment regarding the show. He was quoted as saying:
"The Kapil Sharma Show is coming soon. Uska promo dekh kar main nirash ho gaya hoon. Kapil Sharma hamare comedy ke superstar hai. He is the king of comedy and people love him as a family entertainer. But his new show is coming now on OTT and uske promo me gandagi dekh raha hoon, gande shabdon ka istemaal kiya hai. Mujhe lagta hai mera bhasha yaha haar jaayega aur vo main dekh nahi sakta."
In the same video, Sunil requested Kapil Sharma to stop doing the show. He addressed himself as a fan of Kapil and called him a 'good comedian' with a 'pure heart'. He added that the show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, began on a bad note. He was quoted as saying:
"Kapil, I am your biggest fan, but you have to stop this ... not just for me but for millions of your fans. You are a good comedian with a pure nature and heart. You are the one and only king of comedy. Families watch you ... that's why I am requesting you not to do this. Ye jo shuruat hui hai aapke show ki, bahot gande tareeke se hui hai."
Sunil concluded the video by sharing that he doesn’t expect good language from anyone except Kapil Sharma. He mentioned that Krushna Abhishek also uses foul language. He again requested Kapil not to do a show that promotes foul language, as he has a huge fan following. He was quoted as saying:
"Ise promote bhi bahot gande tareeke se kiya jaa raha hain. Kapil Maharaj, apke baaki team se mujhe koi ummeed nahi hai ... vo khul ke gandagi kare ... vo gali galoch karte hi hai vaise. Krushna (Abhishek) bhi gaali galoch karte hai. Koi problem nahi. Kapil Maharaj, you have a huge fan following. Please don't do this. Aap kahiye ki mere show me gaali nahi hogi, acchi comedy karenge. Don't associate yourself with these people. You all please stay away from the crass content on OTT, let them do but you stay away."
