Vijay Varma opens up about how his real-life sweet romance unfolded with GF, Tamannaah Bhatia and recalled the first conversation that sealed the deal for them.
Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia became the most sought-after couples in Tinseltown, as soon as news about their relationship made headlines. For the unversed, the duo reportedly fell in love during the shooting of their film, Lust Stories 2, and they managed to keep the buzz under wraps. However, it wasn’t until a leaked clip of the duo from one of their New Year parties in 2023 that surfaced, wherein they were seen engulfed in a passionate kiss with one another, that the reports became sanguine. Subsequently, during various promotional events of their film, both Tamannaah and Vijay confessed dating one another.
In a recent interaction with Tanmay Bhatt, Vijay Varma spilled beans on how his real-life romance with ladylove, Tamannaah Bhatia blossomed. Contradictory to reports about them falling in love with one another during the shooting of their film, the actor revealed that everything between them started off once the filming was over. Calling Lust Stories 2 a cupid for them, the actor mentioned:
“Lust Stories was a cupid but it wasn’t during the shoot that we started dating. There was discussion of a wrap party happening but it never happened. So, we wanted to have a wrap party and only four people showed up. That day I feel I told her that I want to hang out more with you. It took 20-25 days for the first date to happen after that.”

Back in December 2023, internet was filled with tons of buzz about Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia’s wedding murmurs. While there was no official confirmation from either of them, the buzz started off only when Vijay was seen frequenting the official store of ace designer, Manish Malhotra. He seemed to be in a shopping spree, and therefore it was speculated that the actor might be prepping up for his wedding with Tamannaah Bhatia.
Previously, while attending the event, Sahita AajTak 2023, Vijay Varma was asked the most obvious question regarding his plans of marriage with Tamannaah Bhatia. It had been a while that the couple had come out honestly with their relationship, so naturally, their fans were ecstatic and curious to witness them finally walk down the aisle. However, in his response, Vijay gave quite a witty reply. He mentioned:
“I can't even tell my mom the answer to this question, and I would not be able to answer it to you."

Earlier, in an interview with the Film Companion, Vijay Varma candidly mentioned how he never thought he would end up dating an actress, until Tamannaah Bhatia came into his life. He revealed that for the longest, he was quite angry with the film industry and so it was impossible for him to even think in his wildest dreams to date an actress. Adding how this belief changed within him after he met Tamannaah, Vijay remarked:
“When I started out, I thought I would not be with an actress or anybody from the industry, just because I was probably angry at the industry. So, when we started seeing each other, I found so much value in having somebody who knows the game, who knows the business, who understands the artistic, the creative, the logistics, the financial, all sides of movie making."
