At a recent event, Abhishek Bachchan and Varun Dhawan engaged in a hilarious exchange of words. The latter can be heard heaping praise on the former.
Abhishek Bachchan is the doting son of legendary actor duo Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri. Following in his parents' footsteps, Abhishek has made a name for himself in the entertainment world. His latest films show his intense looks and performances, and he doesn't miss a chance to grab the headlines. Now, as he appeared at the Amazon Prime event to announce his upcoming film, he got involved in a fun banter with Varun Dhawan, which is unmissable.
At the latest Amazon Prime event, the ace director, Shoojit Sircar was spotted along with the star cast and the other eminent persons of the upcoming film, Be Happy. Thus, the film's lead cast, Abhishek Bachchan, also graced the event. During one such segment of the video, Abhishek joked with leading Bollywood actor, Varun Dhawan. The Guru actor said to Varun, “You’re my inspiration. I want to be like you.” To this, Varun jokingly mentioned that it is a lie. Instead, he is a big fan of Abhishek. Varun added, “That’s a lie. You are our inspiration.” To this, Abhishek then hilariously said:
“Give me your directors or give me your dad.”

But Varun also didn't miss the chance to pull Abhishek's leg yet again. The Student of the Year actor responded, “You give me your dad, then”, and the duo also broke into laughter along with all the others. Further, Varun heaped praises on Abhishek and mentioned that the latter is one of his favourites. In Varun's words:
"Just kidding. I dont think there's a better actor than Abhishek Bachchan to play this role, definitely he is one of my favourites."
Talking about Abhishek's role in the upcoming Shoojit Sircar directorial, Be Happy, the former will unfold the journey of a single father and his talented daughter who aspires to perform on the country’s biggest dance reality show. As per reports, the shooting of the film was recently wrapped up in the USA. It is produced by Lizelle Remo D'Souza and alongside Abhishek, the film will also star Nora Fatehi, Nasser, Inayat Verma, and Johnny Lever, among others.

Talking about Varun, he is currently riding high in his personal life. He is married to his ladylove, Natasha Dalal and together the couple is all set to embrace parenthood. On February 18, 2024, Varun took to his Instagram handle and posted a monochrome photo on his Instagram handle. In the picture, Varun was seen giving a kiss on Natasha's baby bump, and alongside it, he wrote:
"We are pregnant. Need all your blessings and love."
