Anushka Sharma shared a picture from her daughter, Vamika Sharma Kohli's first birthday party on her IG handle and deleted it later.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli had welcomed a little princess into their lives on January 11, 2021. The star parents have been ensuring that their daughter’s privacy is not hampered and have successfully managed to hide her face from their fans. Though the star parents drop glimpses of their little one and she is often spotted with them, her face is still a mystery even after a year of her birth. Yes, time does fly with the blink of an eye as Virat and Anushka’s baby girl turned one.
It was on February 1, 2021, when Anushka Sharma had surprised everyone by posting the first-ever family picture with their then-newborn daughter on her IG handle. Introducing her daughter to the world, Anushka had also announced her name, and had written:
“We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy.”

A while back, Anushka Sharma shared an IG story giving a glimpse inside her daughter, Vamika Sharma Kohli's first birthday celebration. In the candid picture, Anushka and her husband, Virat can be seen smiling, holding their wine glasses, looking perfect together. Sharing the photo, Anushka mentioned that they celebrated Vamika's birthday inside a bubble and thanked the people, who attended the party. She wrote:
"The sun was bright, the light beautiful, the table full, and just like that our little girl turned ONE! The evening was made extra special with the warmest people. And here I was worried about her first birthday being in a bubble! Thank you guys !! (you know who you are)."
We also got hold of pictures and videos from Vamika's first birthday celebration. The star parents hosted a party at the roof-top of the area covered in a bio-bubble and the place was decorated with foil balloons making Vamika's name. On December 31, 2021, Anushka Sharma had shared an IG story, giving a serene view of a park where she was with her daughter, Vamika Sharma Kohli. Though Vamika was not seen in the video, we could hear her call out ‘mumma’ a few times in her cute, innocent voice. The video was shared on several fan pages of Anushka and Virat, leaving everyone in awe of Vamika. Sharing the video, Anushka had written atop it:
“Best way to spend my last 2021 evening.”

As the paps have been following Anushka and Virat’s request to not publish their daughter's pictures and videos, the actress had thanked them for the same. On December 19, 2021, Anushka Sharma had taken to her Instagram stories and had thanked the paps and the media houses for maintaining their privacy and not publishing Vamika's pictures or videos. An excerpt from her gratitude note that could be read as:
“We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support us going forward.”
On June 3, 2021, we had got the first clear picture of Vamika as she was spotted in Anushka Sharma's arms at the airport. Virat Kohli held the luggage as they had got down from the bus at the airport and Vamika was sleeping in Anushka's arms. Vamika, who was in a baby carrier, was seen wearing a light-pink coloured onesie and Anushka had opted for an all-black comfy outfit. The paparazzi had managed to get the first clear picture of Vamika, though Anushka held her tightly to guard her against the flashlights. Looking at the first clear picture of Vamika, we could see her resemblance with her daddy, Virat.
