Met Gala 2024 is officially here, and we can't help but be in awe of this season's astonishing looks. Met Gala is held on the first Monday of May every year to raise funds for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in Manhattan, New York, USA. This year around, the gala's theme was 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion', and celebrities indeed put their best foot forward for the red carpet. However, African singer Tyla and Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian's looks took away our breath in the best way possible.
What better way to depict time than with sand and an hourglass? Tyla for sure understood the assignment for the 2024 Met Gala. The singer wore a stunning beige-hued Balmain gown made of real sand for the red carpet. The gown consisted of three types of sand with different densities to bring out the essence of time.

Tyla paired the look with an hourglass clutch, diamond ring, necklace, and earrings. Tyla opted for neutral glam to make her gown stand out, leaving her short tresses open. Her gown even had a meters-long circular trail to bring out the hourglass definition of the gown.
How can one talk about the looks of the successful Met Gala and not mention Kim Kardashian? The diva opted for a silver-toned Maison Margiela by John Galliano dress with a corset so extremely cinched that it drew gasps from us. The reality TV starlet's dramatic corset came layered with GAP sweater with cowl-neck sleeves and floral embellishments.

Kim Kardashian completed her look with white-bleached tresses left in soft curls and dark brown made with ounces of highlighter. Kim yet again proved that no one can ever beat her fashion game at the Met Gala.
