As per the reports, Sangeetha revealed that Thalapathy Vijay was having an extramarital affair with an actress. Soon all eyes were directed on his on-screen hit co-actress, Trisha Krishnan.
Trisha Krishnan's name was dragged as she was accused of having an affair with Thalapathy Vijay. Now, a post has been going viral, which is reportedly shared under Trisha Krishnan's name. The message as per the post can be read as that no matter what happens, how much opposition they face or even if the whole world stands against them, she would never leave him. The post can be read as:

However, the authenticity of the post raises doubts and questions. As per the report by One India, there is no official evidence that could indicate that Trisha had made any such statement amid the divorce buzz involving Thalapathy Vijay and his wife, Sangeetha. The shared screenshot of Trisha's post being linked with the current scenario is fake. In fact, many users came to her support and pointed out that the message seems to be her earlier post, which was resurfaced. Also, there is no recent upload on Trisha's verified social media handles, which carry the message in the context. It is worth noting that neither Trisha nor Vijay has responded to the claims on the affair rumours.
Last year, when reports were rife that Thalapathy Vijay was living apart from his wife, Trisha's name was dragged in it. However, Trisha Krishnan took to her Instagram stories and shared a cryptic note about love in her life. Her note said she is full of love, which confuses people with stupid thoughts. She wrote:

While her gesture was loved by many, who started claiming that they were together and had been dating for a long time. Trisha shared a photo with Vijay, who held her furbaby, and the actress was looking at him in awe. Along with it, she wrote:

They even appeared in films such as Aathi, Thirupachi and Kuruvi. However, after years of making fans fall in love on screen, the couple stopped working after their 2008 film, Kuruvi. The rumours of Vijay and Trisha's dating were at their peak during that time. However, according to reports, it was claimed that Vijay's family asked him to step away from working with Trisha due to their linkup buzz. For the unversed, it was in 2015 when Trisha Krishnan got engaged to a Chennai-based businessman, Varun Manian. However, within a few months, Trisha decided to call off her engagement, and it left everyone in shock. According to reports, Varun's father was against his decision to marry Trisha due to her filmy background. He wanted someone from a similar background to be part of his family. During a promotional event, Trisha revealed the reason behind her broken engagement and shared:
“That's why my wedding was called off. The person I was supposed to marry asked me to stop acting. Instead of films, I chose to put a full stop to my engagement."
