South actress, Trisha Krishnan is rumoured to be in a relationship with the newly appointed Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Vijay Thalapathy. The former actor, has been married to Sangeetha Sornalingam. Trisha on May 10, 2026, was seen at Vijay's swearing-in ceremony as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It had taken place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. The actress now reacted and was caught blushing when asked about her views on her rumoured love, Vijay Thalapathy, being the CM of Tamil Nadu.
A report by the Free Press Journal revealed that when Trisha Krishnan was seen exiting the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, the paparazzi had stopped her. She reacted when she was asked about Vijay taking the oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Trisha could not stop blushing, smiled and in an interview with Times Now said:
"I am very happy."
When Trisha Krishnan was asked if she had a message for the people of Tamil Nadu who had supported Vijay, she said, "Yes, congratulations. Super happy." The actress beamed with joy in a blue-hued silk saree that she had styled up with a gajra-laden bun. Trisha had come with her mom, Uma Krishnan, to the oath-taking ceremony of Vijay Thalapathy who is the new CM of Tamil Nadu.
Trisha Krishnan, on the one hand, shared a few words with the media before she exited the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. The Kollywood actress attended the swearing-in ceremony of her rumoured love, Vijay Thalapathy. Vijay Thalapathy's parents, along with his close family members, were seen at the swearing-in ceremony. However, it was interesting to note that his kids- Jason Sanjay and Divya Saasha had remained absent from their dad's main event.
After Trisha Krishnan got inside her car, she was seen scrolling through her cell phone. She smiled, and the cops ensured that she reached her house safely. Trisha had also greeted Vijay's mom, Shobha and also his cousin sisters. Neither Trisha nor her mom, Uma had answered any more questions related to Vijay Thalapathy. Trisha Krishnan earlier had generated a lot of curiosity on April 23, 2026, when she had shared a snap of herself with a vote mark on her finger. When the snap had emerged, social media went berserk over the background song she had selected for the Instagram post. The actress had used the song called Arjunar Villu from Ghilli, which was one of her biggest movies with Vijay.
Vijay Thalapathy's estranged wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, has filed for a divorce from the actor. She has claimed that he cheated on her and that their marriage was disturbed due to his alleged affair with an actress. Trisha has been linked to having been dating Vijay.
