In the clip, Vijay was seen at the venue, and to everyone's surprise, Trisha Krishnan was walking just behind him. "There are some issues running around in the recent past, isn't it? I see all of you busy fighting those allegations and getting hurt in the process. In fact, I get hurt when I see you get hurt. I will take care of all that. Let's get involved in people's problems. Don't get hurt about that problem - it's not worth bothering about. Be confident. Only good things will happen."
Amid the divorce buzz, a report by Tamil Filmibeat revealed that Vijay Thalapathy wants to settle the matter out of court. The actor-turned-politician doesn't want to drag it due to his public image. He has initiated multiple talks over the same with his wife, Sangeetha, and if reports are to be believed, he has proposed an alimony of Rs. 250 crore to his wife to settle the case.
Amid the divorce buzz, Madras High Court advocate Saranya Natarajan slammed Vijay Thalapathy and Trisha Krishnan's public outing. Taking to her Instagram account, she shared an official press statement and requested public discussions around Vijay and his wife, Sangeetha's divorce. She even slammed TVK's International Women's Day celebrations at Mamallapuram, wherein Vijay announced key schemes for women in the upcoming Assembly election. She requested empathy for the woman who might be the victim in the case.
Along with this, Saranya also clarified in the caption that she is not representing Sangeetha as her advocate. She further took a jibe at Vijay Thalapathy, making extramarital affairs look normal by displaying them as a proud moment. She referred to Jayam Ravi and then Vijay and Trisha twinning, as if it were a trend.
