Following the couple’s engagement in January 2026, the spotlight on their relationship has intensified in recent months. In February 2026, Zendaya sparked wedding rumours when she was photographed wearing a gold band on her left ring finger in Beverly Hills. After months of speculation, Tom has finally broken his silence on the following.
In a recent interview with Esquire, the Spider-Man: Homecoming actor was asked if he had to let his family members know that the AI-generated wedding photos of him and Zendaya were fake. In reply, Tom Holland said, "No, because they were all there." Tom's reply seemed like a confirmation that he and Zendaya had married secretly. Without sharing further information about their secret wedding, Tom added, "That’s all you’ll get on that." Getting candid on their relationship, Tom said:
"Our business can present very stressful situations, and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time. We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else. So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe ever. Period."
In March 2026, Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, confirmed the former’s wedding to Tom Holland. He said, "The wedding has already happened. You missed it. It’s very true." Earlier, in May 2025, Law Roach told Complex that the pair would keep their wedding secret. Explaining it further, Law said:
"She and Tom are super private about their relationship. They’re trying to be as private as possible. There won’t be a Vogue spread, or there won’t be pictures of the wedding, and the people who she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy, so it will be a really beautiful dress that no one gets to see."
The pair was cast in Spider-Man: Homecoming and began appearing on each other’s Instagram handles in 2016. In July 2017, Tom and Zendaya sparked dating rumours. At the time, an insider told People that the duo was romantically involved. Sharing a rare glimpse into their low-key love story, the source said:
