Tina Ambani's niece recently penned a long note about her, sharing how she stood like a strong pillar beside her niece when her mother, i.e. the former actress's sister, passed away!
Businesswoman and philanthropist, Tina Ambani was a famous Bollywood actress before she stepped into the business world. Known as Tina Munim, the businesswoman starred in several famous Bollywood movies in the 1980s and 1990s. She made her debut with the movie, Des Pardes, alongside Dev Anand.
Following the same, Tina Ambani was seen in several other movies such as Baaton Baaton Mein (1979), Karz (1980), Lootmaar (1980), Rocky (1981), Souten (1983), and Bade Dil Wala (1983), and her last movie was in 1991 alongside Anil Kapoor with the movie, Jigarwala. In the same year, she got married to Anil Ambani, and left Bollywood. Recently, her niece took to her social media and penned a long note, while expressing her gratitude and revealing what was her reaction after leaving Bollywood.
Taking to her IG handle, Tina Ambani's niece, author Lina Ashar, penned a note and mentioned that while the entire world knows the businesswoman as Tina Ambani, her birth name was Nivruti, which means the inward journey, peace after striving and a return to self. In the same note, Lina Ashar revealed that the name became a prophecy eventually, while the entire family would joke to their grandparents about the name, as they had a total of nine children.
In the same note, Tina's niece talked about her acting days, while adding that as a child, she would sit in a chair and look at the former actress, wishing that she would look like her aunt. She further added that Tina Ambani lived a life that only one could imagine, but she had no sense of loss of what she left behind when she stepped into a whole different world after becoming the Ambani bahu. She added that in recent years, what she could really focus on was the meaning of Tina's birth name, as it was just perfect by every means. An excerpt from the note could be read as:
"That movie-star beauty. I remember secretly wishing I could look a little like her. She lived a life most people only imagine. Cinema. Glamour. Fame. And then she stepped into another world entirely as an Ambani bahu — with such grace, and never once with a sense of loss for the life she left behind. But today, when I think of her, I don’t think of glamour at all. I think of the true meaning of her name."
Lina's mother, i.e. Tina's sister, passed away, and the former revealed that it was her aunt who emerged gracefully. Lina, in the same note, mentioned that Tina stood like a strong pillar of support beside her mom, and she would visit her sister every day or twice a day at the hospital. Tina would stand beside her sister and would sing Bhajans, old songs, and recall stories from childhood.
Tina's niece further mentioned that she could understand how her mom and aunt bonded, and there remained a sense of sisterhood as well as motherhood. Tina was in tears when her sister passed away, and looking at her made Lina feel that it was something like losing a mother and sister at the same time. Tina's niece found a greater relationship with her, and she feels that this is the only good thing that came from grief for her part. She could be quoted as saying:
"And when my mother passed, no one cried more than Tina masi. I think losing her felt like losing both a sister and a mother at the same time. People often ask what good can possibly come from grief. For me, one gift emerged quietly through the pain. In losing my mother, I found a deeper relationship with Tina masi."
