This Lavish Wedding Of The Chinese Kim Kardashian Cost A Whopping $31 Million!

Angela Yeung, more famously known as ‘Angelababy’, got married to actor, Huang Xiaoming, on October 8, 2015 in one of the most lavish weddings in China. Angela is a musician, actress and model who is known as the 'Kim Kardashian of China'.

The wedding held at Shanghai Exhibition Center, was in news because, according to a Forbes report, it cost a whopping $31 million, which in Indian money is roughly about INR 212 crore 59 lakh and 78 thousand! Even the original Kim K spent $12 million at her own wedding with Kanye West.

To put things in perspective, the British royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton had a wedding that cost $34 million. If you are wondering what exactly was that extravagant at the wedding, then here is a quick sneak peek at it.

The couple enjoyed a pre-wedding photo shoot in Paris, with the bride dressed in custom gowns by world-renowned Lebanese designer, Elie Saab .

The bride wore a five-carat pear-shaped diamond wedding ring that had other other diamonds around it worth half-a-carat. The ring cost $1.5 million! The wedding ring was bought from high-end luxury French jeweller Chaumet.

There was a holographic castle at the venue. The wedding cake was much more special. It was a 10-foot carousel shaped cake, and it took one month to make it.

The venue was decorated with stained-glass window lights, and huge flowers. There was a big wall decorated with only flowers at the wedding venue. The couple did not forget their approximately 2000 guests during the wedding either. They were gifted with luxury gift bags that included mobile phones.

The bride was dressed in a custom-made Dior gown, which was made up of 115 feet ivory satin organza and 165 feet tulle. Almost 100 handmade rose bouquets of Chantilly lace and a 10-foot train also a part of this grand wedding dress that took five months to make.
