They took home Rs. 66 lakh in prize money. While actress Krystle was a traitor from day one, content creator Rida became a traitor later in the game. In a recent interview, Rida opened up about the panic attack she experienced during the reality series.
In a recent interview with Zoom, Rida opened up about the anxiety and panic attacks that she faced during the reality series, The Traitors 2. She shared the highs and lows of her journey in The Traitors 2. Rida highlighted that her lowest point on the show was when she begged to go home. The Traitors 2 winner mentioned she puked because of anxiety after she was taken to the washroom. The content creator stated that she never felt this weak in her life. Recalling the moment, Rida said:
"When I say this emotionally, immediately after I got up, when they were trying to take me to the washroom, I puked because of the anxiety I had. In the washroom, all I did was - I kept puking the whole time. My body kept shivering. I had panic attacks. So, I really had never felt that weak in my life. I had felt it then. So that was my lowest point."
Rida Tharana is a Bengaluru-based content creator, model and host. She hails from a traditional Muslim family and grew up in a modest household in the rural village of Polibetta, Coorg, Karnataka. She has two sisters and one brother. Rida is the eldest sibling in her family. According to reports, Rida’s family has a coffee plantation business and owns a small restaurant in Coorg.
At the mere age of 17, Rida began hosting events to make ends meet. Her first show lasted nine hours, and she was paid just Rs. 800. However, she faced significant pressure from her maternal relatives to marry at 18. Thus, Rida left her home and moved to Bengaluru to pursue education and took a loan for it. She holds a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Genetics from Garden City University.
In 2020, Rida started her content creation. Her videos have covered fashion, lifestyle, travel, self-love, body positivity and women's empowerment. In fact, her content also addressed social expectations around women, relationships, marriage and independence. Rida made her Cannes Film Festival debut in May 2026. In a conversation with SheThePeople, Rida reflected on her dream-come-true moment. She said:
"Every time I am doing something cool without having to think twice, I always feel like 'Oh my god, little Rida manifested this.' I always wanted to be a girl who is always on the run, and now that I have that life, I feel like I've done little Rida proud."
Rida grabbed significant attention with her stint on the show. After winning the show, Rida shared that she never imagined winning the series as a traitor. She explained that after being blackmailed, everything around her changed. She mentioned that the hardest part of being a traitor was to deal with the guilt of playing against people she genuinely cared about. Rida said:
"I gave my best as an Innocent, gave my best as a Traitor, and left the finale to the universe. I walked into the palace as an Innocent, became a Traitor, and walked out a winner. I couldn’t have imagined a more unexpected ending."
