Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County has been remembered for various moments involving the contestants. The Reunion: Laguna Beach is now expected to bring some stories that were unknown to everyone. It will start airing from April 10, 2026. Viewers won’t need a subscription to watch the reunion. This is because it will stream on Roku devices or televisions alongside the website of the Roku Channel. Apart from these, the reunion can be watched on Android and iOS devices.
The Reunion: Laguna Beach was announced a few months ago in September 2025. Roku Channel confirmed at that time that the show will mark the return of the original cast members. The reunion is arriving at a time when the MTV series has completed 20 years. The main cast, which includes the members of Laguna Beach High School, will be featured on the show.
Fans will get a chance to see their favourites - Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari, Stephen Colletti, Talan Torriero, Trey Phillips, Christina Shuller, Dieter Schmitz, Jessica Smith, and Alex Hooser. NBC Los Angeles stated that Lo Bosworth might be a part of the reunion. She was originally not seen in the announcement. Bosworth later could not attend the reunion promo event because of her health problems.
Liz Gately, the creator of Laguna Beach, will be an executive producer of the reunion. She has previously recalled her memories with the original show, saying that she never expected to find a group of real friends when she spoke to MTV about the concept. Gately mentioned that the show changed the lives of many people, including the cast members, and it meant a lot to all the viewers who were watching without missing a single episode.
While the release date of The Reunion: Laguna Beach approaches, the latest reports have stated that Lauren Conrad, one of the lead cast members, was seeking a few changes to the upcoming special after watching the first cut. For the unversed, Lauren also serves as an executive producer of the reunion. While speaking in an episode of the podcast, Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari, Lauren said that she was nervous when the entire sequence with the main cast members was scheduled to be shot.
Lauren Conrad said that there were moments when she was looking at the ground, and those scenes were used in the first cut of The Reunion: Laguna Beach. Lauren mentioned that the sequences felt like she did not want to be with the group despite the fact that she was excited for the reunion. However, Conrad admitted that she was facing a tough phase when the reunion was filmed. Lauren said that she ensured to remove many scenes from the final cut of the reunion. While Kristin’s face did not drop anywhere in the special, Lauren told her on the podcast:
“Every time you cut to me, I literally look like I want to light myself on fire. My husband watched it with me, and he was like, ‘Oh no.’ He was like, ‘It’s ok, it’s ok; they’ll fix it. You’re executive producer.”
