The Newly-Wedded Bride Bharti Singh Postpones Her Honeymoon For Akshay Kumar, Here Is Why

While the celeb couples who got married in December 2017 are enjoying their honeymoon phase, this celeb couple is back to work and are fulfilling their work commitments first. Aashka-Brent are having fun touring in North India, Anushka-Virat are on their short honeymoon in snowy Europe, Zaheer-Sagarika are having a peaceful time in the Maldives, but Bharti-Haarsh are back to complete their work.

The laughter queen of India, Bharti Singh got hitched in a grand wedding affair to Haarsh Limbachiyaa on December 3, 2017. It was a Goan beach wedding for the couple which kick-started with a fun-filled pool party followed by haldi and mehendi and finally, they were pronounced as husband and wife.

It was a star-studded affair attended by the couple’s industry friends. Bharti made sure that her fans attend her wedding and don’t miss anything from her special day, so this lovely couple decided to make a web series of their wedding in collaboration with OnBoard LIVE.

But post their wedding, the couple has not gone for their honeymoon but instead are winding up their work commitments. Bharti has been roped in as the celebrity judge on the finale of the famous television show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 5.

For the uninitiated ones, Bharti started her career with this show only, 8 years back and it gave her the platform to showcase her talent. When she was given this offer, she agreed immediately.

“You won’t believe it, but I have postponed my honeymoon to Europe for this show. I was supposed to leave on 17th, but because the shoot is on 19th, I cancelled my tickets and booked for 23rd. All the hotel and flight bookings had to be redone, but I have no complaints. I started as a contestant on the show and I am excited to go as a judge.”

The newly-wed Bharti retorted if her hubby Haarsh had any objection on postponing their honeymoon for this or not. She said:

“He asked me if I was sure about it, I am here because of this show, so there was no way I was going to miss it. And he said okay.”
