The follow-up will be titled The Housemaid’s Secret, and it is reported to enter production sometime in 2026. Sydney Sweeney’s return has been confirmed for now. The actress will also serve as an executive producer of the film.
Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chairman, Adam Fogelson, said in a statement that the sequel will be an adaptation of another successful book. Director Paul Feig additionally revealed that Rebecca Sonnenshine will return to write the screenplay this time for the sequel. However, a potential release date has yet to be announced by the makers.
