Reportedly, it was a star-studded celebration attended by the likes of Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran, Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, and more. Now, Taylor’s aunt as well as GMA co-hosts, Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan are giving some intimate details about the singer's wedding.
Taylor Swift's aunt, Robin Gentry, has opened up about the former’s wedding to the love of her life, Travis Kelce. According to Robin, things got really emotional between the couple at their Madison Square Garden wedding. She revealed:
“They cried, and they laughed, and they danced, and they hugged, and they kissed.”
Robin’s statement highlights how Travis and Taylor had a wonderful wedding day just like they had hoped. While Robin remained tight-lipped when it came to follow-up questions, she did confirm that there was “lots” of food at the Love Story singer’s nuptials and she believes that their wedding cake was also a complete hit with the guests.
The Good Morning America team also shared further details about Taylor and Travis's wedding. On Saturday, July 4, 2026, George Stephanopoulos told viewers that the bride and groom, who are both 36 years old, had “little books” at the altar. He had shared similar details with an ABC reporter the night before, stating:
“He says…the vows were everything you would hope for. Real, vulnerable, serious and silly, deeply loving.”
Meanwhile, Robin Roberts gushed about how the pair brought “their own vows.” According to her, the ceremony was “really intimate” as “they had their neighbours [and] their high school friends [there]...like any wedding you would attend.” George agreed with her words, saying that it was indeed intimate, especially considering the fact that the wedding was held at Madison Square Garden. He added, “It's hard to imagine a place that big and a wedding with such stars could feel so personal.”
George claimed that Taylor and Travis's wedding was not only “beautiful” but was a “garden inside the Garden.” Robin, who had been spotted leaving the ceremony early, also confirmed that Stevie Nicks had performed at the star-studded affair. As per Michael Strahan, on the other hand, the evening was Taylor and Travis's “dream wedding.” He went on to thank them for inviting the GMA crew, saying that they really appreciate it.
According to reports, Taylor and Travis said their vows in front of over a thousand guests. MSG confirmed that the couple were officially husband and wife at around 7:30 pm ET when they flashed pink digital screens around the venue that read, “JUST&T Married!” Taylor’s longtime publicist later revealed that the singer chose to walk down the aisle in a Christian Dior Haute Couture gown. He also said that it was actor, Adam Sandler who officiated the ceremony.
It is worth noting that in a sweet twist, Taylor and Travis chose to forego a traditional bridal party. Instead, they chose to honour the two special people in their respective lives. On Taylor’s side, her brother, Austin, served as her Man of Honour. And on the NFL star’s side, it was his brother and New Heights co-host, Jason Kelce, who played the role of his Best Man. Other famous guests who were in attendance at the wedding were Karli Kloss, Miranda Lambert, and Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, who had allegedly partied until the early hours of the morning that day.
