She first made headlines for an alleged dispute with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, earlier in 2026. Taylor Frankie Paul has had enough, and she is making her dismay known. The reality TV star just filed a civil stalking injunction against Dakota Mortensen's friend who posted the video of her sobbing during a blow-out fight with him on TikTok. According to a report by TMZ, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has filed a legal document against Cru Eaton in Utah's Salt Lake County on Friday, July 10, 2026 (ET).
The media outlet has suggested that Taylor Frankie Paul has filed the stalking petition against Cru Eaton following the video of her sobbing going viral. According to the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, she has video and/or photographic evidence to support her case. However, it is notable that the petition isn't a restraining order, but a request for a judge to force her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen's close friend, to stop stalking or harassing her.
The move comes after Cru Eaton took it upon himself to share a wild video of Taylor Frankie Paul sobbing. In the video, Dakota Mortensen is behind the camera, filming her during an intense argument in which he accused her of being abusive. Cru Eaton allegedly shared the video online and captioned it by pushing back against people criticising Dakota, saying, in part:
"Everyone is so concerned and so focused on what must have been happening before the videos started. You guys do understand that Dakota doesn't start these fights, so he has no way of knowing when he needs to be recording them, correct?"
It was not long ago that TMZ reported that Taylor Frankie Paul had sent some explosive texts to Dakota Mortensen in February 2025. According to the alleged texts, when Taylor asked her then-boyfriend about his whereabouts, he replied that he was out to get food. However, Taylor didn't trust his words and slammed him with accusations that he was seeing other girls.
Taylor Frankie Paul reportedly wrote, 'Who the f*** you with? F***ing sketch liar.' Taylor said, 'Nah, you’re with girls. K, go with that.' He later replied that he was out there for pizza, and asserted that he was out with his pal and the pal's wife. Taylor reportedly apologised to Dakota for acting 'nuts' and sending the 'awful texts'. Recently, the couple has been locking horns in court over the custody of their kid, Ever.
