Taylor was all set to appear on the show The Bachelorette; however, just before the show went on air, a video of her was released. The video showed an intense fight between Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen.
Following an intense public trial, ABC pulled the plug on the show, and it was cancelled. Recent reports suggested that the show might go on air in mid-July, and while confirmation about the same awaits, Taylor and Dakota's personal lives have started getting attention again. Recently, some of Taylor's explosive texts to Dakota surfaced, wherein she accused him of lying to her.
According to a recent report by TMZ, it was in February 2025 when Taylor Frankie Paul dropped some explosive texts to Dakota Mortensen. As per the alleged texts, while Mortensen was asked by Taylor about his whereabouts, he replied that he was out to get food. However, Taylor didn't trust his words and slammed him with accusations of being with some other girls.
Taylor Frankie Paul reportedly wrote, 'Who the f*** you with? F***ing sketch liar.' Taylor said, 'Nah, you’re with girls. K, go with that.' When he replied that he was out there to have pizza, he revealed that he was out with his pal and the pal's wife. Taylor reportedly apologised to Dakota for acting 'nuts' and sending the 'awful texts'. Dakota and Taylor are yet to react to the recently surfaced alleged text exchange between them.
A custody case is ongoing between Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen. Taylor and Dakota dated from 2022 to 2024, and they have a son, Ever. The couple broke up after Paul accused her ex of having an inappropriate conversation with one of her family friends. It was following this that the couple was involved in domestic violence.
While the investigation was ongoing, both parties initially denied all such accusations. The domestic violence case was closed after the investigation, and in April 2026, Mortensen was given temporary custody of their son, Ever, and Paul was allowed eight-hour weekly supervised visitation.
Along with this, a judge issued protective orders to both of them that ordered them to stay 100 feet away from each other over the course of three years. Recently, a revision in the custody matter happened that allowed Paul to have more unsupervised visits with their son, Ever. However, reports claimed that Mortensen kept calling cops on her. To add, along with his custody case with Dakota, Taylor is also dealing with another legal battle involving her ex-husband, Tate Paul and their kids, Indy and Ocean.
As per a report, Mortensen called the cops to see if the orders were violated, and an investigation also took place. While the ex-couple reportedly didn't speak or meet since the protective orders were issued, Taylor reportedly called out her ex with a post on social media. As per TMZ, her alleged post could be read as:
"Cops called on me again THIS WEEK … What are the odds? And it’s not people … it’s ONE person, the same person. It’s obsessive.”
