Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleTaylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding has become one of the most-talked-about topics of 2026. With days to their alleged wedding date, fans, wedding planners, and even haters have been curious to know what the real deal would be like. However, while everything is still strictly a "secret", the aide who planned JFK Jr.'s wedding to Carolyn Bessette has called the speculations around Taylor and Travis' Madison Square Garden wedding nothing but a ruse.
RoseMarie Terenzio, who planned JFK Jr.. and Carolyn Bessette's secret wedding nearly three decades ago, has called out the speculation surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding at MSG. While New York City Hall has confirmed an application has been filed for an event in or around Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026, Terenzio thinks it's all a ruse to keep the original plans hidden.
For the unversed, there was also a request to close the streets around MSG on that date. In a conversation with CBS Mornings, she said:
"I overheard a girl on the train; she was sitting behind me talking to her mom...and she said, 'You know, mom, Taylor has to invite us to do something to bring us into her wedding. We've been invested in her love life for so long.' And I think she has such an emotional connection to her fans, and she understands that relationship so well that I think there will be something for the fans."
Reflecting on how, before JFK Jr..'s wedding, they left fake itineraries for Ireland around the office, RoseMarie Terenzio revealed how Taylor and Travis might have kept their wedding details hidden.
"It's intimacy. It's people you know very well, and you tell only them. And the other thing is decoys. The other thing is no text. No emails. Nothing in writing. All by phone or in person. While it's difficult, it's not impossible."
Speculation around Taylor and Travis' wedding has left everyone on the edge of their seats. Amid that, celebrity event planner Marley Majcher said that privacy would be the ultimate luxury. She claimed that "at this level, privacy is not a line item. It's the foundation of the entire event, with staff trained like they're working a state dinner. They'll be making sure nothing feels chaotic." She further added:
"The wedding won't be Taylor-themed. It will be coded. The most successful Taylor Swift wedding wouldn't be one that looked like Taylor Swift. It would be one that felt like Taylor Swift."
A Swiftie named Carli shared her own theory on when and where Taylor and Travis might get married, and alleged that Taylor often lets people believe one thing, just to do something no one had ever expected. While she believed the wedding would be traditional, with Taylor's dad walking her down the aisle, she thinks it would be beyond anything they could have imagined.
Another Taylor Swift fan, Emily, does not believe reports claiming that the couple will get married at Madison Square Garden in New York. She feels that an arena will not match the romantic image many associate with Swift, especially given songs like Love Story. Instead, she feels that Taylor and Travis will tie the knot at Castle Gwynn in Arrington, the same property used as a filming location for the Love Story music video.
