On Thursday, April 16, 2026, Sykkuno released his public statement on X (formerly Twitter), addressing the allegations first raised by HemomalVT. The Twitch star acknowledged his actions and admitted that he had lied about being single, extending his apology to his girlfriend for putting her through the betrayal and pain. Sykkuno wrote:
"I would like to apologize to everyone I have disappointed, most of all to my girlfriend. I am so sorry I put you through so much. I never want to make these mistakes again and hurt you and the people I care about... I was unfaithful, and I own and fully admit to that... I lied to people and told them I was single, which I know is not right. I'm sorry to all of the people that I hurt by doing this."
However, while he admitted to being an unfaithful partner and telling people he was single, Sykkuno also mentioned seeing some "false accusations about me that are not true." The streamer pushed back on some of the more serious accusations circulating online, adding that he "cannot allow false accusations and such extreme labels" to define him. However, he didn't specify which accusations he was referring to. He also urged fans not to send hate toward anyone involved, noting that those who spoke out did so "from a place of hurt."
