Taking to her IG handle on January 21, 2023, Sushmita Sen shared glimpses of her latest purchase of a swanky beast, a black-coloured Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe. In a video shared by her, she was seen unwrapping the luxurious car and brimming with joy and happiness. Sharing it, she wrote, "And the Woman who LOVES to drive… gifts herself this powerful beauty." Afterwards, she also posed with her newly purchased car and twinned in black with it. Sharing the pictures, she penned:
"Beauty and the Beast."

The luxurious car purchased by Sushmita features a 3-litre inline-six turbo engine of 2999 cc, which produces 430 Ps and 520 Nm of peak torque. However, it was the price of the car that caught our attention. As per Cardekho.com, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe is priced at Rs. 1.53 crore (ex-showroom), and the on-road price in the capital city of India, New Delhi, is Rs. 1.64 cores.
It was when in July 2022, Lalit Modi left the internet ablaze by announcing his relationship with Sushmita Sen on his Instagram handle that the actress was called a gold digger. Lalit had then taken to his IG handle and shared a couple of mushy pictures and announced his new beginnings with the actress.
