'Dr Samira' was planning to leave the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Centre and be with her mom in New Jersey. In the premiere, we saw that she learned she was going to get married, sell her house, and go on a one-year cruise, which visibly shook her up. She doesn't have anything lined up in PTMC right now. For the unversed, the senior night shift resident, 'Dr. Parker Ellis' is played by Ayesha Harris, and she was seen in a total of four episodes out of 15, and also returned to season 2. Ayesha Harris has been a part of several shows including Daisy Jones and the Six, Glamorous, This Is Us, The L Word: Generation Q, Abbott Elementary, and Good Girls.
