Veteran actor, Suniel Shetty has always spoken his mind and gave perfect answers to any rumours or hate comments. He was known as the 'wooden actor' during his reign in Bollywood. However, apart from being an actor, he is a doting husband to Mana Shetty and a loving father to his two wonderful children, Athiya Shetty and Ahan Shetty, who have followed their father's footsteps and entered the Hindi film industry.
For the last few days, there has been a rumour that Suniel Shetty's daughter, Athiya Shetty will get married this year to the love of her life, KL Rahul. However, neither of them has commented on anything yet. However, Athiya's father and Bollywood actor, Suniel Shetty has opened up on the same in a media interaction. For the unversed, Athiya and KL Rahul have been dating for quite some time.

In an interview with ETimes, Suniel Shetty broke the silence and talked about his daughter, Athiya Shetty's wedding rumours with KL Rahul. Talking about the same, the doting father revealed that he loves the man in his daughter's life and blesses them with all his heart. He said:
“She is my daughter, she will get married sometime. I would want my son to also get married, the sooner the better. It's their choice. As far as KL Rahul is concerned, I love the boy. And it is for them to decide what they want to do, because times have changed. Beti aur beta dono hi responsible hai. I would like them to take the decision. My blessings are always there for them.”
A few days back, Athiya Shetty had talked about the wedding speculations that have been going on with KL Rahul in an interview with ETimes. Addressing the same, the Hero actress had revealed that she doesn't pay attention to any of these rumours now. She had shared:
"I am not moving in with anyone, but my parents! My family and I will be staying in this brand new home. I am not answering any of these questions. I am tired of all this, now I only laugh them off. Let people think whatever they want to."

On the other hand, Athiya's brother, Ahan had talked about his sister's wedding in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar. The Tadap actor had revealed that his sister is not even engaged yet to her boyfriend, KL Rahul. Talking about the same, he had even mentioned that there are no wedding plans for the next few months as well.
