According to a report by Flick On Click, Tom allegedly took home USD 15 to USD 20 million, and Zendaya allegedly earned USD 5 to USD 8 million. If the report is believed to be true, then Tom Holland earned more for his role in the superhero film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Alongside Tom Holland and Zendaya, Spider-Man: Brand New Day also stars Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Tramell Tillman, Marvin Jones III and more. According to the same outlet, Jacob allegedly bagged USD 1 to USD 2 million, Jon allegedly took home USD 4 to USD 6 million, Mark reportedly earned USD 8 to USD 12 million, and Michael allegedly bagged USD 2 to USD 3 million. As per the same report, Sadie allegedly earned USD 2 to USD 4 million. Liza and Tramell reportedly took home the same amount of USD 500,000 to USD 1 million, and Marvin allegedly earned USD 2 to USD 3 million.

Sharing a hint about what to expect in the film, director, Destin Daniel Cretton, in an interview with ComicBook.com, said that this time he and his team wanted to serve something new to the audience with the same old essence of the superhero, 'Spider-Man'. He was quoted as saying:
"Of course, it’s still the Spider-Man that everybody loves, but this is a new chapter in his life, and that tonal shift was something that was really exciting to me. All the creatives involved when I came on board wanted to do something that felt different."
