The actress, Sonam Bajwa, pulled Shubman Gill's leg and teased him for his rumoured relationship with Sara Ali Khan. For those who don't know, Shubman made headlines after smashing his first double-century in a match with New Zealand.
On January 20, 2022, Sonam Bajwa, known for her happy nature, pulled Shubman Gill's leg and teased him. She re-shared a fan-made meme. In the meme, Sonam and Shubman were seen shaking hands. According to fans, his excellent performance was because of the positive impact of Sonam. Sharing the picture, Sonam tweeted:

Shubman appeared on Sonam Bajwa's talk show, Dil Diyan Gallan, in 2022. During one of the segments, Sara was asked to name the fittest female actress in Bollywood. To this, Shubman instantly said, "Sara". Then, Sonam asked him whether he was dating Sara. Shubman quipped, "Maybe." Sonam laughed and said to reveal the truth. Shubman cutely said:
"Sara da sara sach bol reyaan. Maybe, maybe not."
Sara and Shubman are dating rumours churned in media mills after they were spotted dining at a restaurant in August 2022. Pictures had gone viral on the internet. The couple was seen enjoying dinner together as they wore casual ensembles. They were seen busy in a deep conversation.
Earlier, Shubman Gill was rumoured to be dating Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, Sara Tendulkar.
