After tying the knot in 2017, Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had embraced parenthood in 2020 and had welcomed a cute little angel into their lives on April 15, whom they have named Anayka. The doting parents love sharing glimpses of their tiny tot and little Anayka never fails to make us happy with her cuteness. The doting parents never skip a chance to share an update about their baby girl and treat us with Anayka’s adorable pictures and videos. On September 11, 2020, Gautam Gupta had shared a beautiful picture of Smriti with their angel, Anayka and pooch, Lucas. In the picture, Smriti was seen caressing the two babies, Anayka and Lucas to sleep. Gautam had captioned the picture as “Mommy Duties> Daddy Duties.”
On January 5, 2020, Smriti took to her IG handle and made our day by posting cutesy pictures of her little munchkin, Anayka. Dressed in a cyan and white-coloured tie and dye onesie, Anayka looked cute as a button. But it was the little goofball’s expressions, which stole our heart. Giving a tough competition to her star parents with her cutesy expressions, Anayka happily posed for the camera. Along with the pictures, the doting mommy revealed the name by which she and Gautam call Anayka as she wrote, “They call me Pataaki… What would you nickname me?”
On the occasion of Father's Day, Smriti had shared adorable pictures of her husband with their baby girl. In the pictures, we could see Gautam holding their baby girl in his arms while Anayka had donned a white sweatshirt with 'Daddy my whole world' written on it. Along with it, Smriti had penned a cute note for the new father and it could be read as "@mistergautam it’s been so amazing to see you change and develop into the incredible daddy you are to our girl. It’s made me love you even more (which I thought wasn’t possible). Happy Father’s Day baby! PS don’t miss the last picture of Anayka." Talking about Smriti and Gautam's baby girl's unique name, the actress had revealed the story of the same in an interview with the Hindustan Times. She had said that it took them 20 days to decide her name. Revealing the meaning of ‘Anayka’, Smriti had said that it means powerful and complete. She feels Anayka is an apt name for her daughter. The actress had also said that she had wanted a baby girl and her wish has come true.
On June 29, 2020, Smriti Khanna had taken to her Instagram stories to share an adorable picture of her daughter, Anayka. She had posted a picture of Anayka that majorly focussed on her long pretty eyelashes. Atop it, she had written, “Atleast she has my lashes @anaykalucasofficial”. Later, she had taken to Anayka’s official Instagram handle to re-share the same story, adding how she thinks everything else in her daughter resembled with her father, Gautam, except for her eyelashes.
