As per the clip, she was with the investigators, when she showed middle finger to the media. Well, now her father has reacted to the video clip.
Soon after the video clip of Siya Goyal showing middle finger to the media went viral, netizens expressed their frustration on social media. While some called out her arrogance, others were disappointed by how they first killed Ketan Agarwal and then had the audacity to show middle finger despite being surrounded by police officers.
Amid the backlash, Siya Goyal’s father recently had a media interaction, during which he defended his daughter. He stated that Siya was not showing middle finger to anyone, in fact, she had injured her finger, so was only being careful about it. As per a report by DNA India, Siya’s father, Praveen was quoted as saying:
"Even her nails have turned blue. The way this is being portrayed on social media is completely wrong and unfortunate."
Praveen Goyal claimed that his daughter hurt her finger while getting into the police car. Reportedly, when she got in, the officers accidentally closed the door, and the 20-year-old got hurt on her fingers. As per him, Siya’s fingers are swollen and she even has a bandage on. It is worth noting that even since Siya has been accused of killing Ketan, her father has been demanding strict punishment, so his recent statement in support of her has raised a lot of questions.
A few days ago, Siya Goyal revealed that she did not want to marry Ketan Agarwal because the 26-year-old businessman was bald and used to stammer. However, a few hours ago, a video clip of the deceased went viral on social media, in which he can be seen speaking fluently.
Soon after the clip went viral, one user commented, "Whether stammers or not, if Siya did not like his looks, body language, why force Ketan & his family forced ketan to not break engagement?" Another user shared, "Stammering??? Well-done one more clear proof that how cunningly Siya is turning up with all the lies." A third user penned, "Bhai ketan looks very innocent who has not dated anyone in his life ....reason why he couldn't catch the signs."
As of now, both Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary are in police custody; however, none of them have been convicted. For those who do not know, the horrific incident happened on June 18, 2026, when Siya and Chetan pushed Ketan off the cliff, resulting in his death, just a few months after their engagement. Ketan’s family has been devastated by it and want the strictest punishment.
Talking about the case updates, till now, Siya Goyal has admitted to rehearsing Ketan Agarwal’s murder at an open space near a club in Lullanagar. On the other hand, Chetan Chaudhary’s alleged classmate and friend has also been detained as he knew details about Ketan’s death. Reportedly, Siya and Chetan had urged him to accompany him to Lohagad Fort on June 18, 2026 but he refused. In the past few days, multiple cosy videos of Siya and Chetan have made rounds on social media, hinting at their strong bond. The videos also suggest that they had a good reason to kill Ketan.
