Recently, she was escorted by Pune Rural Police to her home in Lulla Nagar, Pune, for the ongoing investigation in the matter. But the way she reacted, seeing the media outside her house, was deeply concerning.
On July 2, 2026, police took Siya Goyal to her home for the investigation. The police were escorting her when she left her home. She flashed a middle finger at the media stationed outside trying to get hold of her footage. Her face was covered with a printed scarf, and she wore a black-hued T-shirt.
As soon as the video surfaced, netizens shared their opinion. One user wrote, "#SiyaGoyal showed a middle finger to the media while being taken back to the police station. Her anger is totally justified; after all, she just murdered an innocent man. The media trial must seem so unfair to her. We, journalists, should hope she doesn't push us off a fort."
Another one commented, "#Siyagoyal Just for a moment, imagine yourself in his place.
He must have woken up that morning with hope, got dressed with excitement, believing he was going to meet the woman he wanted to spend his life with. Instead, what did he endure in his final moments?"
For those who don't know, police have recovered Siya's clothes, and she had worn the same ones on June 18, 2026, when she pushed Ketan Agarwal from Lohagad Farm. The police had also taken Siya to the place where she, along with her lover, rehearsed the crime weeks before taking her fiancé, Ketan, to Lohagad Fort. As per Pune police revealed:
"Investigation has revealed that Goyal and Chaudhary had rehearsed at a hillock-like space near a club in Lulla Nagar how to push Agarwal off the cliff at Lohagad Fort. Today, Goyal was taken to the spot, where she identified the place where they had allegedly carried out the rehearsal. We have also collected a substantial amount of technical and digital data, which is currently being analysed and cross-verified."
Police have recreated the crime scene twice at Lohagad Fort to know how Siya and Chetan committed the whole crime. They used dummies of Agarwal's weight and reconstructed the whole sequence.
Siya Goyal's mother, Payal Goyal, revealed that her daughter was unable to clear her Class 12 examinations. After which, Siya started her home baking business. Her mother also revealed that Pooja Goyal stated she had told Ketan's family about her daughter's educational qualifications and how she started her own baking venture.
Siya's mother also stated that she had informed Ketan's family about Siya's educational qualifications, and they chose not to hide anything from the family. She revealed that her daughter had no interest in studies and hence she started her own venture. But some reports mentioned that Siya has enrolled herself as a Commerce student at a Pune college.
The mother also talked about Siya's relationship with Chetan Chaudhary, and revealed that the two met at a cricket tournament at Pune's Market Yard. However, she further added that the two were not romantically involved with each other, as Siya was already ready to get married to Ketan.
