Just days after debuting her relationship with her new boyfriend, Pete, Janelle Brown is showing off how smoothly her relationship with him is going. Taking to Instagram a while back, the 57-year-old documented a date night between her and her boyfriend. In the photo that Janelle shared, the couple stood in front of some sailboats on the water. Pete had his arm wrapped around Janelle.
Despite it being a date, the pair kept things casual, with Janelle wearing a navy blue blouse, white trousers, and tan sandals. On the other hand, Pete wore a greyish collared T-shirt, navy blue jeans, and a pair of sneakers. Their outfits perfectly complemented one another. Janelle captioned the post, “A beautiful evening by the water (this may be becoming a theme for us). Had dinner while we watched the boats.”
Fans could not be more happier for the Sister Wives star as she appeared to be glowing in the picture with her boyfriend. One user wrote, “Wow Janelle, you have pure happiness on your face. You two look like you were always meant to be together!” Another wrote, “You have the glow - I know that glow; I had it too when I met my second but true love! The look at Janelle’s romantic waterside dinner with Pete comes less than two weeks after she hard-launched him to her fans. She took to Instagram on August 18, 2026, to show off her new beau in a cozy and loved-up picture.
Gushing about her boyfriend, Janelle said that he “turned out to be exactly what I didn't know I needed.” In the picture, Janelle could be seen hugging Pete, and both of them had the biggest smiles on their faces as they posed for a selfie.
Pete sported a blue T-shirt in the snap while the Sister Wives star wore a floral mauve-and-white-hued blouse. In the caption, Janelle revealed that he found her when she least expected it. Her heartwarming note read:
"Some chapters are meant to unfold quietly before they're shared. I wasn't looking. I certainly wasn't expecting you. And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn't know I needed. And it has been pretty wonderful. Everyone, please meet Pete."
Janelle Brown and her spiritual husband, Kody Brown, split in 2022, ending nearly 30 years of their marriage. After this, Janelle had shut down the idea of dating and marriage, claiming that she was “not really interested” during her 2025 appearance on the Sibling Revelry podcast. She said:
“My marriage is over. I don’t know what I’m gonna do. I’m not really interested in getting married again or even really dating at this stage. So I’m not even thinking about, like, ‘Oh, what do I need to do?’ Because I’m just like, I am over it.”
Her words came just a year before she got together with Pete. It also highlights that Janelle thought Pete was someone worth changing her mind over.
