Sidhu Moosewala's father, Balkaur Singh revealed getting harassed by the government after the birth of his second child, and they are asking him to prove that the child is legal.
Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's father, Balkaur Sing and his wife, Charan Kaur, welcomed their second child in March 2024. The family has seen the toughest times after the horrific death of their son, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, a.k.a. Sidhu Moosewala, who was killed in Punjab's Mansa district. However, it seems like their problems have not yet ended as Balkaur Singh revealed that the Punjab Government has been harassing him after the birth of their second son.
On March 19, 2024, Sidhu's father took to his Instagram handle and shared a video expressing his concern about the government and how they have been harassing him. He revealed that the government has been questioning the family over the 'legality' of the child. In a video message, Balkaur Singh expressed his gratitude to God and revealed that they got their Shubhdeep back. However, the government has been harassing him since morning to furnish documents of the baby. He was quoted as saying:
"Due to the blessings of Waheguru, we got our Shubhdeep (Sidhu Moosewala) back. However, the government has been harassing me since morning, asking me to furnish documents of the baby. They are questioning me to prove that this child is legal."

In clear words, Balkaur Singh addressed CM Bhagwant Mann to wait until his wife, Charan Kaur's treatment, is over. He added that he would provide all the legal documents of his child's birth. He was quoted as saying:
“I want to request the government, particularly chief minister Bhagwant Mann, to till the treatment of my wife gets over. I belong here and will come to any place you call me (for questioning)…I will provide all the legal documents."

On March 18, 2024, Sidhu Moosewala's mother, Charan Kaur, shared a picture note in Gurumukhi and expressed her heartfelt gratitude. In the note, Charan Kaur thanked God that he reunited her with her son after one year and ten months. She further prayed that God make her second son as brave as her elder son, Sidhu. In the end, she thanked Sidhu for returning home.
On March 17, 2024, Balkaur Singh took to his Instagram handle and posted the first picture of his newborn son. In the photo, Balkaur Singh held his baby, sleeping peacefully, in his arms. We can also see Sidhu's picture behind him and a yummy cake to celebrate the baby's arrival. Balkaur Singh penned a heartfelt note in Gurumukhi along with the first photo. He thanked the millions who loved Shubdeep, a.k.a. Sidhu Moosewala. He shared that God has bestowed them with Shubh's younger brother. He added that with God's blessing, the family is healthy and thanked his well-wishers.
Punjabi singer and rapper Shubhdeep Singer, famously known as Sidhu Moosewala, rose to fame quickly with his hard work and immense dedication to his craft. He rose to immense fame with his song, So High in 2017. Within no time, his music climbed the Billboard charts. In his rap songs, he often talked about death and guns, which earned him a huge fan following and enemies, too.
After making a lot of name and money in the industry, Sidhu Moosewala was brutally killed on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village of Mansa district. He was driving to his aunt's place in his Mahindra Thar when some men fired around 30 shots at him. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead. His death sent shockwaves in the entire nation. However, it was his parents, Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur, who found it difficult to restart their lives.
