During a Q&A session with fans on Instagram, Shubman Gill was asked about his relationship status amidst his dating rumours with Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, Sara Tendulkar.
Being in the limelight, it is indeed difficult for celebrities to keep their personal lives under wraps. No matter how much they try, there's constant scrutiny on their lives leading to speculations in the media. The situation with Sachin Tendulkar is no different as over the years, though he had managed to keep his wife, Anjali Tendulkar and kids, Sara Tendulkar and Arjun Tendulkar, away from the media glare, the Tendulkar family often makes it to the headlines. Sometimes, it is about their lovely social media posts that the family puts up for each other. But sometimes, the speculations and trolls make the headlines.

Sara Tendulkar and Arjun Tendulkar have always been away from the limelight but with the advent of social media, it has become difficult to safeguard the Tendulkar siblings from the rumours. During Indian Premier League 2020, for the Kolkata Knight Riders v/s Mumbai Indians match, Sara had cheered for her 'favourite' player, Shubman Gill. Though KKR had lost the match, Shubman was sublime on the field. And impressed by his fielding efforts, Sara had captured Shubman's fielding on camera and posted it as her IG story with heart GIFs. The IG story had sparked rumours that Sara is dating Shubman.
Sara Tendulkar and Shubman Gill's dating rumours have been ruling the headlines for months now. During a recent Q&A session with fans on Instagram, Shubman was asked about his relationship status. When a fan asked Shubman if he is single, the cricketer replied, "Oh yes! I am. I have no plans of cloning myself in the near future, either." For the unversed, a few months ago, a Google bug had also shown Sara as Shubman's wife by the search engine.
Shortly after the end of IPL 2019, in June, Shubman Gill had bought a luxurious four-wheeler, Range Rover and in the caption, he had proudly written, "Thalle mere Range akh baaz naalo tezz! Caption credits- @jassie.gill." Congratulating Shubman for the new vehicle, Sara Tendulkar had commented, "Congratulations" followed by a black heart emoji. Shubman, in no time, had replied, "@saratendulkar thanks a lot" followed by a sparkling pink heart emoticon. Hardik Pandya had taken this opportunity to tease his fellow cricketer, Shubman and had retorted, "@shubmangill most welcome from her" on his "thanks a lot" reply to Sara.

In July 2020, Sara Tendulkar had posted candid pictures of herself and had captioned them as "I spy." More than how gorgeous Sara had looked in the pictures, it had caught everyone's attention for her caption. Shubman had also posted a dapper picture of himself, posing in cool sunglasses, a white hoodie, maroon jacket, blue denim and white sneakers. And he had used the same caption as Sara's, "I spy".
Just like her regular posts giving a glimpse of her real-life, Sara Tendulkar had posted an IG story of beating the heat with her cup of Blue Tokai coffee, a few weeks ago. Sara had written, "@Bluetokaicoffee saves lives" atop it. A netizen had replied to Sara's story, trolling her for wasting her father's money. Sara had posted a screenshot of the same on her IG story and schooled her for commenting with a discomforting remark. Tagging the girl, Sara had written, "Ummm… Any money spent on caffeine is money well spent, not wasted LOL (whoever's it may be)" atop the screenshot.

On the work front, Shubman Gill's next assignment is the UK tour, where the Indian cricket team will engage with England in 5 Tests.
