On August 22, 2026, he surprised everyone by not just hard-launching his lady love but also announcing that he had got engaged. Thousands of fans and many of his industry acquaintances, like Eisha Singh, Paras Arora, Pankhuri Awasthy Rode, and Nidhi Uttam, have shared their heartiest congratulations in the comment section.
In the engagement announcement post, Mohsin shared a carousel featuring him and his fiancée, Tamanna, holding a beautiful bouquet. Tamanna donned two sets of outfits, likely for two separate celebrations. In one of them, she was seen in a white ensemble, and in the others, she donned a gorgeous, sparkly red gown. The white outfit was likely for a day event, while the red one might have been for the night. Mohsin complemented her in a black blazer suit, red tie and red pocket handkerchief.
Tamanna and Mohsin's engagement party seemed to be an intimate celebration amid family and close friends. In one of the pictures, Tamanna was seen flaunting her massive diamond ring, and in some others, the couple was being showered with currency notes. Alongwith the photos, Mohsin shared a lengthy note that he penned for the love of his life, Tamanna. He introduced her to the world as a "crazy beautiful confident sensitive girly."
As per Mohsin's heartfelt note, Tamanna loves to sing, dance, pray and is full of life. Calling her his "forever person", Mohsin stated that their love story was "written in the stars." The newly-engaged actor expressed how happy he was to have found a friend-cum-lover and his "home" in Tamanna.

In 2017, Mohsin Khan had confirmed his relationship with his Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star, Shivangi Joshi. At that time, he stated that their friendship naturally translated into love, and they even celebrated the New Year together with his family. Back then, he also complained about not being able to go on dates often because of their busy schedules. In 2019, rumours of a strained relationship between the duo surfaced. Some insiders claimed that the two didn't seem warm to each other on sets.
At that time, the actors shut down rumours of a rift or breakup, but the chatter persisted. Around October 2021, reports claimed that Shivangi and Mohsin had officially broken up, but there was again no confirmation from the people involved. Since then, Shivangi has been linked to various stars, including Kushal Tandon and Rohit Suchanti; however, Mohsin remained low-key until his August 2026 engagement announcement.
