Shilpa Shetty Kundra shared an adorable video of her daughter, Samisha Shetty Kundra, with her father, Raj Kundra, and penned an emotional note as her baby girl turned two!
After trying for four years for another child, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra had taken the route of surrogacy to welcome a little angel into their lives. It was in their third attempt at surrogacy that they had received the ‘good news’, and nine months later, a baby girl, whom they have named Samisha Shetty Kundra, had walked into their family. As Samisha turned two, her mommy, Shilpa penned an emotional note for her with an adorable video.
For the unversed, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra had surprised their fans on February 21, 2020, when they had announced the arrival of their baby girl, Samisha, by posting a picture of the little one holding her mommy’s finger. Shilpa had written:
"Om Shri Ganeshaya Namah! Our prayers have been answered with a miracle. With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little Angel, Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born: February 15, 2020. Junior SSK in the house! ‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is “to have”, and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for “someone like God”. You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family. Please bestow our angel with all your love and blessings Ecstatic parents: Raj and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Overjoyed brother: Viaan Raj Kundra."

A while back, taking to her IG handle, Shilpa Shetty Kundra wished her daughter, Samisha Shetty on her second birthday with an emotional note. She shared an adorable video of Samisha indulged in a kiss competition with her father, Raj Kundra as they were contesting over Shilpa belongs to whom and the baby girl can be heard saying, 'Mine'. Along with the video, the actress penned:
“MINE! YOU came into our lives and brought us so much happiness even then, we can never have enough of it Thankyouuuu for filling our hearts with love and joy, my precious darling Samisha I loved you before you took your first breath and promise to protect you till my last. Happy birthday Samisha, our little baby is 2.”
When Samisha had turned one on February 15, 2021, her parents had shared some beautiful memories with their little doll. Shilpa had shared the video of the first time her daughter, Samisha had said the magical word, ‘mumma’. Sharing the video, Shilpa had written:
““Mumma” - hearing you say this, as you turn one today is the greatest gift I could ever get. From your first tooth to your first words, from your first smile to your first crawl... every milestone is special & reason to celebrate you every day... On Samisha’s first birthday, Shilpa and Raj had hosted a grand birthday party for their friends and family members. Shilpa, Raj, their son, Viaan, Shilpa’s mother, Sunanda, and their friends were present at the party, which had a beautiful floral décor. However, it was Samisha’s first birthday cake that had stolen the show for us. The baby girl had got a colourful unicorn cake with rainbow, clouds and flowers on it. Samisha's elder brother, Viaan had looked excited for his sister's first birthday as he had cut the cake on her behalf.
