The 'biggest project' of SLB's life, Heeramandi features a star-studded cast including Farida Jalal, Shekhar Suman, Fardeen Khan, Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Richa Chadha, among others.
While everyone praised the other stars in the series, it was SLB's niece, Sharmin Segal, whose performance brought her a lot of flak. The photo featured the two actresses looking gorgeous in their chic ensembles. While Janhvi donned a pastel-hued shirt, Sharmin donned a white shirt. In some other screengrabs, which featured her old photos, Sharmin looked simply unrecognisable, and netizens have been reacting to this.

For the unversed, Sharmin Segal's role 'Alamzeb' in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi grabbed a lot of negative limelight. However, as soon as the old photos of the actress surfaced online, netizens started dropping their opinions. While some users talked about Sharmin's looks, others started attacking her acting skills in Heeramandi. On the other hand, some other users compared her acting skills to that of Janhvi Kapoor. Meanwhile, other users chipped in and wondered if Sharmin had opted for some surgeries as she looked a bit different in the previous photos.
For those who don't know, Sharmin had reportedly taken a whopping amount of Rs. 30 lakh for her role in Heeramandi. Talking about the same, Sharmin added that it was Priyanka Chopra who inspired her to go in and out of each character in the movies.
