Soha Ali Khan is a popular Bollywood actress. She recently started her own podcast, All About Her on YouTube, where she sits and has candid conversations with other celebrities. During the latest podcast with Sonakshi Sinha, Soha opened up about her relationship with Kunal and shared that her mother, Sharmila Tagore felt that Kunal Kemmu won’t get married to her after the live-in relationship because there is no interest. Soha was quoted as saying:
"Kunal and I were together for seven years before we got married. We were living together for two years before marriage. That’s when my mother said, ‘Now he’s not going to marry you. You’ve taken away all the interest,’ and I thought, ‘Maybe she’s right.'"
Soha Ali Khan further mentioned that both she and Kunal were not actually convinced by the idea of marriage and they felt that it was not very important. However, she revealed that since both of them did not consider marriage a big thing, they eventually decided to get married. Later, her mother also shared that men need a ‘little push’, or else they won’t get married. In her words:
"We (Kunal and herself) weren’t actually wrapped up in the idea of marriage anyway. Kunal said it wasn’t that important, and I also felt that maybe it’s not that important. Eventually since it wasn’t such a big deal, so we thought, we might as well get married. My mother also insisted that men need a little push – otherwise they won’t ask you to marry them."
