One of the finest actors of the telly world, Sharad Malhotra, has finally found love in his life in the form of Delhi-based fashion designer, Ripci Bhatia and we couldn’t have been happier! Love came in Sharad’s life many a time but never did it last for as they rightly say, the moon fairy ties the marital knot at your ankle and your partner’s ankle the day you are born. And that is probably how Sharad Malhotra found the love of his life in Ripci Bhatia and very soon, they are going to be pronounced as mister and missus in an Anand Karaj ceremony during the noon and in a Hindu wedding during the night! From a scintillating mehendi ceremony hosted by the couple and their families yesterday (April 19, 2019), during the noon and a fun-filled sangeet ceremony during the night, we bet Sharad Malhotra will now understand why it is so much fun to get married! To let you all know once more about what the couple was sporting at their sangeet, the actor was seen in a maroon velvet bandhgala kurta, while his soon-to-be dulhania amazed everyone in a golden lehenga choli, with her hair left loose. As per the following video, Sharad had planned a surprise segment at their sangeet ceremony, where he sang love songs like Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain, Tumse Milke and Hawayein, dedicating his beautiful bride-to-be, Ripci. The most adorable part, however, was when Sharad was singing Tumse Milke, Aisa Laga Tumse Milke for Ripci, she couldn’t control her emotions and went up on the stage and planted a peck on his cheeks! And on April 13, 2019, Ripci Bhatia had shared a beautiful picture with her beloved, Sharad Malhotra striking a mini Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi pose, announcing to the world that they have now been rokafied! In an interview with SpotboyE, Sharad Malhotra had spoken about his wedding and had stated, “I am a bit nervous, but that’s obvious. In the last 12 years, I have got married seven or eight times on screen, but this is going to be real. So, I’d say, I am more excited now (laughs). My parents are also very happy. What more could I ask for? My mother and sister have already started planning for the functions. Since Ripci is a Sikhni, there will be dholwallahs playing at our wedding." Sharad had also spoken about his honeymoon plans, “While I love the hills, Ripci loves the sea. So, we are yet to finalise our honeymoon destination (laughs). After the wedding, I’ll be back to work. Maybe, we will plan something in the next few months."
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Sharad Malhotra had opened his heart out about his soon-to-be missus, Ripci Bhatia, maintaining relationships and dealing with heartbreaks. Sharad had shared, “When I was introduced to Ripci, I had just come out of a relationship and was going through a difficult phase. Initially, we would just exchange occasional pleasantries on social media. It was only after Ganpati last year that we got talking on the phone, which was after my last relationship ended. What connected us probably was our fear of marriage. In fact, Ripci travelled the world for six years to avoid marriage, as the pressure on a girl at her age was mounting. I would have loved to do that, too, but I was constantly working. It’s only recently that our families got involved after we spoke over the phone for a few days.
