Karan Johar has become a Godfather for every star kid as it looks like he has decided to launch them all in Bollywood. It was on March 22, 2021, when Karan Johar had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a sizzling video of Sanjay Kapoor's daughter, Shanaya Kapoor as he had announced her much-awaited debut in Bollywood. Along with the video, Karan had penned a long note in the caption, in which he had revealed that Shanaya is going to start the shooting of her debut film under Dharma Production from July 2021. Talking about Shanaya’s photoshoot for her introduction in Bollywood, the young girl had clicked some striking poses and her pictures in the bikini had blown our minds. Karan Johar and the starlet had shared a series of pictures from the shoot and in one of them, the soon-to-be actress can be seen donning a printed bikini, posing in a pool. She completed her look with a black printed shrug, a few neckpieces and open wet hair. The hues of gold and brown makeup added more glam to her look. Well, according to Zoom, the young lady opted for a bikini from Versace with the Barocco mosaic print bikini top costing Rs 45,500 and the Barocco mosaic print bikini bottom worth Rs 36,300, making it cost approx. Rs 81,000.
It was Shanaya's father and actor, Sanjay Kapoor, who is on cloud nine with this advancement in his daughter’s career as he had reshared Karan's announcement video on his IG handle and had penned down his best wishes for Shanaya in the caption. His note could be read as "With her unabashed enthusiasm, resilience & sparkle - My daughter is all set to take over your screens soon. The doting daughter, Shanaya had shared her dearest daddy's post on her IG stories and had put a red heart emoticon on top of his name in the video.

According to the reports of MidDay, in conversation with a channel, Sanjay Kapoor had opened up about his daughter, Shanaya Kapoor's acting debut in Bollywood. He was quoted as saying, '"It has been delayed by the ongoing pandemic, but we're hopeful that it will happen very soon." Shanaya Kapoor has already made her way to the film sets along with her cousin, Janhvi Kapoor with her film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Shanaya was the assistant director of the film.
