Shakti Arora And Nehaa Saxena Could Not Get Married In 2016 Due To This Reason

After Vinny-Dheeraj and Karan-Tiara’s lavish wedding in 2016, people (especially all telly freaks) were anxious for the next wedding of the year and that was of Nehaa and Shakti. But there came a twist in the tale and duo could not walk down the aisle because  demonetisation didn’t go well with them.

Not just we commoners, but this whole fiasco had hit many public figures as well, and that too very badly. Nehaa and Shakti who were all set to tie the knot on November 15, 2016, but due to the sudden money crunch, the cute couple decided to postpone their marriage.

They could not manage things because of very less time after the news of demonetisation broke, so the couple and their families finally decided to postpone the same.

Here’s what the Meri Ashiqui Tum Se Hi actor was quoted saying:

"It will take me a long time to exchange the old notes with the new ones. I have no idea when we will get married now. It's definitely not happening this year."

It’s very common that people withdraw money to pay the small vendors and caterers, and same was the case with this heartthrob. This is what he said in an interview with a leading daily:

“I had pulled back money to pay to the wedding coordinators, food providers and other staff as I needed to give them a progress. Be that as it may, they are declining to take the old money now.”

To let you all know, this adorable couple first met on the sets of Star Plus’ Tere Liye in 2010. Initially, there were all hesitations in between them, but soon they became close friends and realised that love was blooming between them.
