To mark their sixth wedding anniversary on July 7, 2021, Mira had posted a mushy picture with the love of her life, Shahid. Expressing how words cannot suffice the love she has for him, Mira had captioned the picture as "I love you more than words suffice. Happy 6, my love my life."

On September 19, 2021, Mira took to her IG handle and treated her fans with one of her hidden talents. Mira posted a video where she was seen playing a few tunes on a piano. She captioned the video as "Here’s something you didn’t know about me. I can play the piano! Well I’m out of practise, but I can read music, play my scales and play by ear. I can’t wait to get back to playing! I hated my lessons so much, probably because they were geared towards examinations but now I regret giving them up! Anytime I see a piano I can’t help but sit down and start playing. But it’s the same few pieces that I still remember. Now I think I should get back to it!"
The video was then panned towards her hubby, Shahid Kapoor, who was seen waiting patiently for her to finish. As soon as Shahid appeared, the text below the video read, "Husband photobomb. He waited till I played Bekhayali too."
On September 7, 2021, Mira had turned 27, and her doting husband, Shahid had poured his heart out to wish his lady love. The actor had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a couple of pictures. Alongside it, he had written, "Not just to share your joys but to share your sorrows too. Not just for every day we smile in each other’s arms but on the days we cry in each other’s arms. You are the centre of my world. And I wouldn’t want it any other way. Happy happy birthday."
