Throwback to the time when Shahid Kapoor made a candid confession about being cheated on in his past relationships.
Shahid Kapoor is one of the most dashing actors in Tinseltown at the moment. The handsome hunk enjoys a massive fan following, courtesy of his good looks, acting prowess and enigmatic personality. For the unversed, Shahid made his debut in 2003 with Ishq Vishk and his chocolate-boy looks made him an instant favourite of the audiences. While he is happily married and settled in life with his better half, Mira Rajput and their kids, Misha and Zain, there was a time when the actor dominated headlines owing to his link-ups and relationship murmurs. However, he once talked about getting cheated on in his past relationships.
When we recollect Shahid Kapoor’s past relationships, it was subsequently with two leading ladies of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, whom the actor dated. Kareena and Shahid starred together in a number of films and their love story sparked over the years. On the other hand, the actor worked with Priyanka in films like Kaminey and Teri Meri Kahani. Interestingly, while in the former case, Shahid was quite open about dating Kareena and vice versa, however, Priyanka and him never accepted nor denied their dating rumours.

Back in an interview with Neha Dhupia on the show, BFF With Vogue, Shahid Kapoor sat down for a candid round of revelations with his better half, Mira Rajput. During a rapid fire session, Neha asked Shahid to reveal if any women in his past cheated on him during their relationship. However, before he could respond, his wifey, Mira expressed how the question must be rephrased to ‘how many women’. Hearing this, Shahid thought a bit and responded:
“I’m sure about one, I have major doubts about another one. So, I think a couple of them. I’m not going to name any of them.”
Upon his response, Neha Dhupia further pressed Shahid to reveal the names, and she even went on to hint if these two women were the two popular ladies of Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor. However, Shahid simply avoided responding and said:
“I cannot name them. I cannot answer that question. No, I’ve answered your question.”
Previously, in an interaction with Pinkvilla, Shahid Kapoor talked about the several link-up rumours with his co-actors that he dealt with, especially right before his wedding with his wife, Mira Rajput. The actor claimed that most of it was baseless rumours. He added how people end up confusing real feelings with the chemistry between two actors shown on-screen.

In one of her older appearances on the chat show, Koffee With Karan, Kareena Kapoor had once discussed how her love story with her then-beau, Shahid Kapoor had started. The diva remembered chasing the actor for two months straight, and added how she was the one who used to initiate conversations over messages. In her words:
“He did not even bother, for 2 months I had to chase him. I was the one who was initiating SMSs’, calls, asking him to meet..he was kind of shy and finally we met up and things started, but it was me who made the first move and accelerated the relationship.”
