The muhurat of Shahid and Mira's wedding was 11 AM, and they had a simple Gurdwara wedding. Only close friends and family members of the couple were present at the do. Shahid and Mira had a big fat Punjabi sangeet ceremony on July 6, 2015. And, here is a look at the very gorgeous couple, Shahid and Mira, enjoying the most beautiful times of their life. While Shahid looked super-hot in sizzling red kurta and jacket teamed up with a black churidar, Mira looked stunning in a yellow and peach lehenga-choli, designed by Anita Dongre.

In a statement given to the media, Anita Dongre revealed:

"Mira opted for a customised beautiful yellow lehenga and paired it with a lovely peach choli. The outfit Mira chose perfectly complements her young and colourful personality."

For the post-wedding appearance, Shahid changed to an ivory sherwani and churidar designed by his close friend, Kunal Rawal, which he teamed up with black shoes. Mira, on the other hand, looked drop dead gorgeous in a pink and gold Anamika Khanna creation. Interestingly, her makeup for the day was said to be done by makeup artist (MUA) Mallika Bhatt, who once happened to be Shahid's ex, Kareena Kapoor's MUA. In fact, many reports also claimed that she had also been Shahid's another ex, Priyanka Chopra's makeup artist too. Phew! Looks like Shahid's ladies have more than one person in common in their lives! Talking about Mira's look for the day, various reports mentioned that her wedding ring was worth Rs. 23 lakhs, which was designed by nation's ace jewellery designer, Nirav Modi.

The proud and happy parents of the groom, Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak, expressed their happiness as they interacted with media. This is what his father said:
