Naagin Actress Sharika Raina Got Married To Shabir Ahluwalia's Elder Brother Sameer

And another one bites the dust from the tinselville! This time, the telly actress who just got hitched is none other Naagin fame actress Sharika, who was engaged to actor Shabir Ahluwalia’s brother Sameer.

Sameer and Sharika exchanged wedding vows and became mister and missus in a beautiful beach wedding, and looking at the pictures we can say, it was one helluva fun time for everyone.

For those who don’t know much about this couple, wondering if it’s a love marriage or an arranged one, how Sameer and Sharika met and who proposed whom, well just hang on, here’s their complete story.

Shabir’s brother Sameer is also a part of the entertainment industry and works as a supervisor producer with a production house. Sameer and Sharika met while shooting for a show in Rajasthan, where Sharika was impressed by Sameer’s professionalism.

Well not too bad for starters we say! Now, talking about how they got breaking the ice, and how sparks flew, Sharika candidly shared that it was Sameer’s helpful nature that brought her close to him. She said:

“I remember this one instance when we wrapped up the shoot quite late in the night. He had made arrangements for those who didn't have their own transportation. I was impressed with his helpful nature. We became friends and then, fell in love."

Now answering the big question, who proposed and when exactly this happened! Sharika’s response amused us! It wasn’t Sameer who proposed, it was Sharika herself who did the honours! Talking about the special moment, Sharika said:

"I took him to a coffee shop on the eve of his birthday. At the stroke of 12, I bent on my knees and proposed to him."
