Recently, Benny Blanco opened up about his wedding and revealed that Selena Gomez cried on the big day as she had misplaced her handwritten vows.
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, the much-loved couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in September 2025. A few days ago, the music composer faced major backlash for his dirty feet. Well, now Benny Blanco appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! show, where he shared that Selena Gomez couldn't stop crying on her wedding day as she lost her handwritten wedding vows.
Recently, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Benny Blanco revealed that he and Selena faced multiple issues during their wedding. One of the major problems was that Selena Gomez lost her handwritten vows because of which she couldn’t stop crying. However, Benny shared that a few hours before the big day, he found the paper and handed it to the singer without reading the vows. Benny Blanco was quoted as saying:
"There was so many issues like Selena lost her vows five days before the wedding for like four days and I found them right before the wedding, they were handwritten. I didn’t look. I closed my eyes and I swear I didn’t look. But I mean, how good is it? It made me look so good. It was like the best thing I could have done. I’m about to marry her and then I find the thing. She was crying."
During the same conversation, Benny Blanco also revealed that he had invited his close friend, Dave Burd to lead the wedding ceremony. For the same, Dave had planned a speech. Meanwhile, Selena Gomez was going through her speech and she asked Benny to make sure that Dave does not include anything in his speech that would ruin her speech. Later, when Benny informed the same to his friend, he realised that Dave would have to change his opening speech. Eventually, to make sure Selena Gomez enjoys her moment, Dave Burd changed his entire speech at the very last moment.
A few days ago, Benny Blanco made his debut podcast with his friend, Lil Dicky and his wife. During the same, he went straight to the sofa with his dirty feet visible on the camera. Well, this didn’t sit well with the fans, who raised multiple questions on his hygiene. A few users even dragged Selena Gomez in between. A social media user commented, "Selena needs to divorce him and find someone better." Another user wrote, "I have never been more disappointed in Selena than I am right now."
