For the uninitiated, a blind item was shared by Crazy Days and Nights on October 9, 2026, claiming that an alliterative music producer believes his partner will not leave him because ending the marriage would cause a lot of embarrassment. While the post does not name Benny or Selena, a TikTok creator went a step further and referred to the video and used the caption, "Benny Blanco cheating on Selena Gomez." The report was first published by IBTimes UK.
This left netizens with a lot of questions. Netizens questioned the behavior, while one user challenged the suggestion and stated that ending a marriage would be less embarrassing than remaining in an unhappy relationship. One user wrote, "How is leaving him more embarrassing than marrying him in the first place?" A second user questioned the claims and asked with whom Benny was allegedly cheating.
A YouTuber video by Mitchel Reacts was shared on his channel, talking about the same. Many commenters even speculated if they were in an open marriage. A user wrote, "If this rumour is true, at least she was smart and made him find a prenup so he doesn’t get any of her money, so I mean, but I would hate for that to happen. I don’t wanna see that girl hurt again."
